Note of Apology:

I would sincerely like to apologise for this afternoon's revelation that each and every one of you has lost marks due to late submission of your bioinfo practical report. I assure you that this will not happen again. Sorry for any inconveniences caused.

Kudos to the football team.

Kudos to the football team who played really well this afternoon. though they did not win anything, but thier spirit and passion in which they have put into this game and the days leading up to the game is truly a winner down here.

Never have i seen such enthusiasm that they have showned in the football team and you guys truly worked really hard to give your best in every game that they played.

Cheers!

On a side note, Tomorrow's bioprocess will be cancelled. No supplementary lecture and lecture in the afternoon as well.

Also, ive decided to collect Bioinfomation Practical for this week on Friday. Do please complete it and hand it in on Friday latest!

New report submission guidelines.

From now on, im gonna collect reports and hand in to the admin office by 4pm on the same day, or the LAST lesson of the day, whichever is earlier. I will not hand in the reports after lab practicals, but rather at the time mentioned above.

This is to give you time to print your reports and finalise everything until you are ready to hand it to me. To those who forgot to to bring or wish to hand in at a later date. Please do it at your own discretion. I will not be responsible for missing or late reports to those who wish to hand in later than the date of collection. Similarly it is my duty to hand in these reports on time. Any actions that would otherwise delay this will not be tolerated.

Also, if you wish to hand it in yourself, fine, but remember, if i recieve complains about the submission of single reports and annoying the admin staff due to your actions that is rightfully not my fault, i know who you are and ill make sure that YOU will take the responsibility of your actions.

Week 7 Schedule and task reminders.

Do take note that on monday, there will be another protein tech tutorial session. This time it will be Mr Michael and he will be going through questions that may come out for the common test and possibly the exam.

The tutorial slot is as per normal based on the timetable.

Other than that, there arent any major changes to the schedule and any E session for this week, do refer to the schedule that was given to you a long time ago.

CMS wise, do complete your Bioprocess tutorial in the CMS as well as the Practice assesment 4 for Bioinformatics.

Ever wondered how TAMIFLU works?

Want to know how TAMIFLU is made?

Can you imagine, a chemical structure, made from simple atoms that is commonly found all around us, can actually save our lives? Think about it.. the wonders of science....
