I am pleased to inform that the following maintainance / upgrading had been completed.

- SCL(LS) student computer lab (Q303 & Q304) updated with the latest windows and office patches ( as of 18 Oct 2005).
- SCL(LS) student server upgraded from Windows Server 2000 to Windows Server 2003.
- SCL(LS) student exchange email server upgraded from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003.

All staff, pls be reminded that
- SCL Student Intranet URL is http://sclistud.nyp.edu.sg
- SCL Student Exchange URL is http://sclstud.scl.nyp.edu.sg/exchange

Mentors,
Pls be informed that with the student server upgrade, all students account and mailbox had been recreated.
As a result, all student login account password/student exchange mailbox password had been reset to "passw0rd".
The Student exchange mailbox password is tied to their Windows Login account password.
Students can change their password using the computers in Q303/Q304.
Pls help to inform all student about this.

So to say, we can now access our school email at home!! Use the second url (the one ending with /exchange and use the default password.
Username: Student admin no!!
Password: passw0rd
